Karl Hall
Chief Executive Officer

Karl Hall founded KaZaZZ! in 1998 and is currently the company’s chief executive officer.  After seeing several startup companies compete with corporate powerhouses such as Verizon, IBM and Microsoft, Hall founded KaZaZZ! to test the theory that startups can effectively compete with large corporations by consistently working with passion, developing a continuous stream of great ideas, maintaining organizational flexibility and delivering superior and unique products and customer service.  To fuel the company’s growth, Hall has setup an idea lab, which mines KaZaZZ! search results for creative new ideas.

Previously, Hall worked for 15 years at Verizon Communications where he held leadership positions in treasury/cash management, finance, marketing, vendor management, internal audit and business development.  Hall was one of the initial 10 employees in the Verizon’s Long Distance startup company, which has grown into over a $10 billion company.  Hall also founded and is president of the Institute for Global Excellence (Instiglobe), a think tank and charity founded with the purpose of addressing critical world problems.

Hall is an accomplished inventor and currently is the holder of two U.S. patents pending technologies (patent # 10/811,364 and # 10/429,311).  These patent are related to high definition television conversion software and Internet search technology.

Karl Holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida and an MBA in Finance from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia.  In 1996, Karl received a President of the United States Citation and J.C. Penney’s Golden Rule Award for his work in the Aids Mothers Unit of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Tampa Bay.  Karl is married and lives in the Dallas area.
