KaZaZZ! web search deploys a simple yet
powerful search ranking methodology. KaZaZZ!
has designed it ranking process to give both large and small sites the ability to be seen
by people from around the world. The premise
of our search ranking methodology is to give sites with interesting titles, clear
descriptions and compelling content the ability to appear at the top of our search results
regardless of the size of the site.
KaZaZZ! web search results are ranked based
on both relevancy and popularity. Here is a
summary of how KaZaZZ! uses these attributes to rank its sites:
Relevancy – Web
search results are ranked based on the relevancy of the site’s titles, description
and site content in relation to specific search requests.
Popularity – KaZaZZ! uses the numbers of actual clicks
a site receives within our search results as a surrogate for site popularity. The more clicks a site receives within our search
results, the higher it will be ranked. The
number of clicks a site receives appears next to its title within our web search results. |
